  This has got to be one of my absolute favorite shots I've ever taken! Usually, I don't give myself enough credit, but this year I've made a resolution to be kinder to myself (after all, we can be our own harshest critics). I'm honestly over the moon with how this shot turned out, and it's giving me so much excitement. I do understand that I still have a lot to learn when it comes to the art of photography, but that's what makes it such an incredible journey of daily growth and discovery. I had a bit of a dilemma about whether to blog about this photo or simply share it on my Flickr and other social media platforms. However, I truly want my blog to be a true representation of my individual vibe. And I must say, I am quite proud of how this picture turned out. Tonight, I had a beautiful reminder of the incredible impact that music and creativity can have on our moods. I woke up feeling a bit off, but instead of letting that feeling consume me, I decided to acknowledge it and keep pushing forward. Unfortunately, a few incidents managed to rattle my nerves and put me in an agitated state of mind. To lift my spirits, I made the choice to play some uplifting music and channel my creative energy into taking pictures of the outfit I carefully put together for my hosting gig last night. I absolutely adore this look! I didn't want to take it off, and honestly, I still don't haha. The entire shoot turned out beautifully, and I'm just thrilled with the results! I've been trying to infuse some of the things that really inspire me into each post that I make.  And guess what?   So, I had this idea floating around in my mind ever since I bought this amazing dress at an event around Halloween. But I couldn't quite visualize it clearly, so I put it on hold for a while. Today, while I was jamming to music and doing my dishes, I heard Shinedown's "A Symptom of Being Human" come on. I absolutely adore that song, and when the lyrics "Til I got my invitation to the lunatic ball And my friends are comin' too" played, it instantly made me think about the dress and what I could wear to the lunatic ball.   Over the past couple of years, I somehow seemed to have lost my creative spark. If I'm being completely honest with myself, I think it all began with the loss of a friendship that inspired and ignited my passion for decorating and photography within the virtual realm of Second Life.   It was quite a journey for me to finally discover the spark I had been yearning for.
